Novice

Initially, we will determine which eye is your “master-eye”

Show you the correct stance in order to minimise felt recoil and to address the target correctly Show you how to mount the gun correctly

Provide the PPE (personal protective equipment) you will require

Teach you the best method for successfully hitting a moving target-you will be amazed at your success rate.

Above all-teach you how to do all of these things safely and if you miss, how to analyse where you have gone wrong and correct it!

 

Experienced Shot

Determine the reason/reasons for the loss of form and agree corrective action and required practice to overcome

Check your gun fit

Check your eye dominance (which may have changed over time)

Competitive Clay Shot

Introduce different methodologies for Sporting/ Trap and Skeet shooting

Competitive Game Shot

 (now don’t tell me you are not competitive)

Introduce you to “Gun-down” shooting and the parallel mount

Coach you on a variety of Game/Wing type targets. Our tower is 145 feet high, we can elevate the trap and thus emulate Whitfield/Chargot, etc., high birds with the greatest of ease. High (and Fen, that rocket from the ground) Pheasant, driven partridge or grouse type targets will have you starting the season with the form that you normally hit half way through the season.   

Individual Lessons

1:1 Tuition       £45 per hour plus clays and cartridges*

2:1 Tuition       £55 per hour plus clays and cartridges*

3:1 Tuition       £65 per hour plus clays and cartridges*

*If a Shot Gun licence holder-you may use your own cartridges

Clays £5 per twenty five.

Example: 1:1 Lesson (Novice) 50 clays and 50 cartridges

£45 plus £10 (clays) plus £8 = £63

Prepare yourself to pass the ruling body practical examinations in this intensive one day course. £125 per person (maximum 6 candidates).
